About andrewyoung
I am an artist working with glass for 38 years. My company Pearl River Glass Studio, Inc. is underway in a major business expansion adding 10,000 sq. ft. of studio space to our existing facility in Midtown Jackson. We are designing and manufacturing kiln formed architectural art glass. We collaborate with architects, interior designers, and artists to explore what is possible with glass as an art form. Visit the Pearl River Glass Studio FaceBook page and our website at www.pealriverglass.com. And if you are ever in Mississippi let me give you a tour of the studio and show you what we have found is possible with glass and meet our talented group of artists and craftsmen.
Hello there! I popped on your site after chatting about your Buffalo Women and Childrens Hospital Project. I saw some early photographs while developing the etching. I was a little bummed that you must be too busy to blog! I was anxious to read when I saw it!
Take Care! It was great to meet you! Jennifer
Jennifer. I have finally gotten my soldering iron out and reostat. I have been working on adding to the blog. There is so much to write about that I can hardly know where to start. My thought is to work on a few different themes and then post them all at the same time. I hope you have been able to get by the hospital and see the new stained glass windows.

I am referring your studio to some of my Hotel Project Designers. You might e-mail me so I can forward you their contact information. One is in Charleston and one is in Jackson and two are in Dallas. Marvelous things that you do! Marvelous. Also do you have a good ornamental iron worker in Jackson that you use?
Dear Mr. Draffen. Since our last communication about my stained glass work I have been busy finishing a desing for a chapel in Illinois.
I am planning a sales trip to the Atlant area in the near future. Depending on your schedule of course, An appointment to meet you and to show you other examples of my work would be great. I suggest that we find a project that I can work with you and your team of designers on – to see what I can do.
We are adding large scale fused glass pieces, fabricated as laminated safety glass which could be used to great effect in resturants and other public spaces.
I look forward to your reply.

Dear Mr. Draffen, I wanted to follow up with you from your contact at the first of the year. I just sat in on a social media seminar and realize that my blog is a tool that I have not used in my marketing effort. I anticipate a trip to Atlanta either in July or August. There are a number of meetings I would like to organize while I am there. Please contact me and we can work out a day and time. By the way we are continuing to add new ideas, especially new is fused glass lighting fixtures.
